Brainwash session of TCS officers begin

By Our Correspondent

The Tripura Civil Services officers who were selected in written and oral tests recently are finding the hard way how they need to function in the days to come. The ten newly selected TCS officers were given a brainwash today on the manner in which they should function in the days to come. And it was the chief minister Mr Manik Sarkar who went all the way to Sipard complex to complete this brainstorming session to convince them of what he and the Left Front government administration want from them.

It may be mentioned here that in a unprecedented step the state government has decided that instead of sending these officers to outside the state it will be more convenient to carry out their training in the Sipard complex itself at Arundhutinagar, located in the Southern part of the state capital Also present alongside the chief minister Mr Sarkar were chief secretary Mr Sudhir Sharma and principal secretary Mrs Shyamalima Banerjee.Sources said there has been a severe dearth of yes-men among the presently serving TCS officials. There is however exceptions like Mr Subhash Debnath (zila sabhadhipati of West district) who left the government job and joined the ruling party. This is amply testified by the sheer fact that the present Left Front government has found a new found bonhomie with several retired TCS officers who continue to remain at the helm of affairs thanks to the reappointment orders bagged by them. These have been given as a direct result of the fact that they have always remained close to the ruling party and served the interests of the party during their tenure in office.
