An unique tea tasting session was organized at Rajashri Yatri Niwas here today that gave vital inputs to the tea planters of the state on ways and means to improve their profits. Associated Brokers Private limited organized this session where representatives of 21 tea plantation companies were present. Speaking with reporters the organizers mentioned that the purpose of such a programme was precisely to harness the potential of the state that is a major tea producing area of the country.
The intention is to tell the planters which market prefers which type of tea. They should concentrate on ways and means to get better prices from the auction market. This will lead to increase in their profits and lead to their prosperity in the days to come . The planters also welcomed the move to organize this tea tasting session.
