Agartala, Jan 17: A middle
aged person was murdered by unknown miscreants at Tablabari under
Khowai police station.
Yesterday morning local public of Tablabari noticed
that dead body of Debaprasad Das(40) of the area was lying in a pond
at Tablabari. On this information SDPO Khowai, OC Khowai Police
station and staff rushed to the spot and recovered the dead body
with cut injury on his head. It was suspected that on January 14 at
any time unknown miscreants murdered Debaprasad Das and threw him
in a pond at Tablabari about 4km South-East from Police Station. It
is mentioned that a missing entry was made at Khowai Police Station
as he was missing from January 14 night. Dead body has been
forwarded to Hapania Hospital for holding Post Mortem examination.
Police arrested one suspect Sadhan Tanti(40).
