4 ADC villages under Killa R D Block get mini deep tube wells

Agartala, July 12:  Four ADC villages under Killa R D Block have got four mini deep tube wells. BDO Mr. B. Bhattacharjee informed that four tube wells had been installed at Sukhmohan of North Barmura village, Goutamanipara of Raiyabari village, Chandaipara of Bagma village and Monithangbari of Purbakhupilwng village. A total of Rs. 4, 75,620 was spent for the installation of all the tube wells. Meanwhile, for the improvement of road connectivity brick soling of about 380 km was constructed from Bagma to Kanchani colony.

Meeting held on prevention of TB

Agartala, July 12:  Dhumburnagar Rural Development Block and Tripura Tuberculosis Prevention Association jointly organized a discussion at Gangdacherra town Hall on June 30 last. The discussion was held with the aim to avert Tuberculosis (TB) and to spread awareness among the rural people. MLA Lalit Mohan Tripura inaugurated the function. “The disease is curable if it can be traced at the earliest. Of late, latest scientific research and up-to-date technology has helped to get rid of the disease easily like other diseases.

Aged mother killed by her son

Agartala, July 12:  An aged mother was murdered by her son when she was assaulted severely at her house at Kabiraj Tilla under West Agartala police station on Thursday night. According to police, accused Sajal Das (28) of Kabiraj Tilla assaulted his mother namely Ranu Bala Das (52) with sharp cutting weapon in their house at Kabirajtilla about 2 km South-East from Police Station.
