While the Tripura BJP led coalition government today ruled out the allegation of opposition parties over patient death in Agartala GBP hospital due to negligence act of the concerned doctors, the family member of the patient identified as Presh Modak, today lodged an FIR with the police station against the concerned doctors who allegedly refused to treat patient due to crisis.

The family members today sought justice to their patient who died couple of days back in the hospital. This perhaps has lead the opposition parties join in stir against the government recently terming the government to be failure in rendering proper treatment to the patients in the government hospitals.

"We have a report that the patient has died in OT room due to high blood pressure and not because of doctor's negligence," adding to this Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb has triggered gun on the oppositions and said, "They are simply defaming the government functioning across the state." Now, what makes the story more interesting is the statement of a lady doctor in the hospital who attended the patient and talked to television channels in the hospital earlier and clearly said, "We have cancelled the OT of the patient as they are unable to arrange the expenditure for post operative medications."

She said, "We can arrange Rs. 10, 000 for the OT of the patient, but what after the operation. Who will pay for the post operative medications of the patient. So we have cancelled the operation for the time being and unless the patient family arrange the rest amount we will not be able to start the operation." She however agreed that the patient had high blood pressure. This perhaps has brought speculation over the statement of government today which denied of any negligence of doctors. However the family member of the patient who finally died after his OT was cancelled today demanded the government to conduct proper enquiry into the incident and find out the fact on this.
