Major embarrassment for former CM Manik Sarkar after being restricted from entering govt. bungalow

Triggering yet another political debacle in the state of Tripura, the former chief minister and currently the opposition leader Manik Sarkar who was not allowed to enter the government Dak Bungalow at Gandacherra sub-division under the Dhalai district had to face a heavy protest among the ruling BJP activists.

The incident took place on Monday evening while large number of BJP activists getting an alarm of Manik Sarkar’s arrival at Gandacherra Dak Bungalow has blocked the road restricting Mr. Sarkar from entering the Dak Bungalow. Manik Sarkar was supposed to visit the Gandacherra sub-division to take a note of alleged tribal’s food crisis there on Tuesday. According to the report, Due to the protest Manik Sarkar had to leave the place.

However, Reacting sharp over the incident with Manik Sarkar at Gandacherra on Tuesday evening the CPI-M state secretary Bijan Dhar blamed the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party and alleged that the entire episode was brought up under the leadership of senior BJP leaders to demise the burning food crisis of tribals at Gandacherra. Mr. Dhar also alleged that the BJP has been playing conspiracy so that the real scenario could be restricted come out public.
