Matabari Complex Development Project unveiled by President R Kovind

The President of India Ramnath Kovind on his two days maiden visit to Tripura offered prayer at Udaipur Tripura Sundari Temple at Gomati district and later unveiled the foundation stone of the Matabari Complex Development Project at the temple premise.

He accompanied by the Chief minister Biplab Kumar Deb, Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Verma, state tourism minister Pranajit Singha Roy and other top officials have visited the temple this morning after his arrival at Agartala airport, from where the President flied to Udaipur by Indian Air Force Chopper flight.

The President has also launched the first ever official website of the Tripura Sundari temple, to attract more tourists from the state and abroad. Later, the President ha also dedicated the NH8 road, stretching from Matabari to Sabroom, the souther part of the state boundered by the neighbouring Bangladesg, to the nation.
